iceflowers.org replaces my former fanlisting domain utsukushiki-yami.org (= "Beautiful Darkness") which I had for about a year. I really liked the domain as I always wanted something japanese. But I felt that was hard to remember for others and I slowly started to want a domain that is easy and quick to write and easy to remember. I was thinking of various names but I finally decided for iceflowers.org because of a song named "Eisblumen" by a german band. I like this song very much and since I also love flowers and icey things, I simply translated "Eisblumen" to english and my new domain was born =D.
Before iceflowers.org and utsukushiki-yami.org, my fanlistings were hosted as subdomains on my main domain november-solitude.net which I don't own anymore. With my growing passion for fanlistings, I decided to get a domain only for this sites.
Most of my fanlistings are hosted here at iceflowers.org but a very few have also an own domain or are hosted on another special domain just for this fandom. Currently, there are 4 other domains that are part of November Obsessions:
• leon-kennedy.net; fanlisting & fansite for Leon S. Kennedy from the Resident Evil series
• 9thwondersfan.com; fanlisting for the TV Show Heroes
• last-escape.org; holding my Resident Evil fanlistings
• just-survive.net; supposed to hold my Resident Evil fanlistings but only Chris Redfield made the move; will no longer be used
I'm a fangirl from germany, currently 25+ years old *coughs* and I'm creating and maintaining fanlistings since november 2007. The first fanlisting I have ever applied for was for Kunzite from the Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon series, but the first one I got ever approved for was for the relationship between Sailor Venus / Aino Minako and Kunzite from the same series (got approved for Kunzite about one week later too =D). There are a lot of things I like and a lot of fandoms I'm in, but the most important fandom for me is Resident Evil. for me, it's the best game series ever, with an amazing story and great characters. So it is also kinda obvious that I own quite a few Resident Evil fanlistings. Most of them has been given to me by friends who are sadly no longer active in the fanlistings world, so I am very proud they have entrusted me these fanlistings.
In autumn 2009 I applied to be a Trouble Checker (TC) at TFL and in December of the same year, I was asked if I would like to be a TC for the Relationships: Book / Movie category. I was very excited and of course I took the chance and joined the "Green Team". Since it was all new to me, I wanted to take my time and get familiar with anything before joining another category but in January 2010 a new TC was needed for Animation - Awwww <3. I couldn't resist and joined my second category. I really didn't want to join a third category so fast but when in February a TC was needed for the Games category, I couldn't resist (of course not xD). But I think I did right. I really like my job as a TC; I work with wonderful people and can check a lot of different fanlistings =).
When I am not busy with my fanlisting stuff, I enjoy playing Videogames (guess what?! xD) or reading a good book. I'm also a movie nerd and I love anything animated. I like to spend time with my friends and cooking. My favourite food is greek salad (feta cheese <333) and sushi. I have a large collection of "My little Pony" (500+ ponies) and live together with my cat Sammy.
